Full Day Preschool Care

Ages 3-5 Years

Full-day preschool care is available year round, Monday-Friday from 7:00am-6:00pm.

My full day preschool care option provides a safe, high quality care and learning environment for families needing an extended day of care.  

​

Our primary focus in preschool is on social-emotional and self-regulation skills.  My goal is to develop children that are prepared with the skills they will need to be confident, life-long learners.

​

We follow an emergent, play-based curriculum.  By observing children's changing interest and needs, curriculum is planned to build on children's current knowledge and support them in developing a deeper understanding of real-world and school readiness concepts.  An intrinsic motivation to learn is developed by spending large chunks of our day in child-selected learning opportunities, allowing each child to focus their time and efforts on the learning that is most meaningful to each of them.

We spend extended periods of time in our outdoor classroom every day.  The preschool years are the perfect time for children to learn to care for the earth as they are learning to care for themselves.  It also provides the perfect learning environment for the big, active play that is so crucial for preschool age learners.

Regular developmental screenings, progress assessments and partnering with families inform individualized development goals and instruction opportunities to meet the unique learning needs and interests of each child.
